A second round pick and a huge TE is more value than what the Blazers recieved.

But Walsh is on crack for not accepting one for a proven 20 and 10 player?
What happens "IF" Zach makes the Clips title contenders?
Thens Walsh is on crack for giving Zach up for 1 second round pick, right?
The real funny part is all the same posters were saying Zach is untradable....wrong again.

Nice logic there.

Clincher wrote:As for asking for Gordon, you dont seriously expect Walsh to go and seriously get Gordon right? As a GM, YOU ALWAYS SHOOT HIGH WHEN YOU BEGIN NEGOTIATIONS. Who the heck in their right mind will aim low and ask for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley, which takes up 2 valuable roster spots for the price for 1?
Doubt it... otherwise the Clips would've asked more for their 2nd rounder

All joking aside, Randolph's value has went straight down. I remember at the start of the season, there was way too much hype with the Zach/Curry duo, but that didn't turn out well at all... Wouldn't getting the TE help you guys land your franchise player in 2010 anyway?

If I was Knicks GM, the phone call would have went -
Clippers GM: We're willing to take Zach Randolph off your hands in trade for...
Me: Deal, no returnsees!!!
Honestly though, as someone else said, that's a better deal than Portland got back (large trade exception > 30 mill buyout).
At worst a 15 mill trade exception has more value than Zach Randolph does, which you have a year to trade.

He's almost untradeable because there's alsmost no market for an overpaid one-dimensional player like him . The Clippers are desperate now that Brand left and Davis is signed , the Cavs might get desperate if things don't look well around the trade deadline but other then that . Who wants to pay Zach Randolph that much money considering the baggage he's bringing with him. ( on and off the court )

Btw my personal opinion is Zach Randolph would be a 15-7 guy IF he would learn how to play in a team concept . ( thats still good and worth more then the current Z-Bo even if the current is 20/10 ) But he's taking tons of stupid shots and fights his own teammates for rebounds and thats massively padding his stats.
