King James and CP3 lose to people I've never heard of

If LBJ was playing as hard at the writer suggests, how does this happen? Funny stuff anyway.

With Deron Williams on their team they would have gone 7-0 no doubt.

The college kids, I mean.

Williams was on the other team, and they won 4-3. Of course the Williams I am talking about is this Terrence Williams kid who blocked James' shot.

Doesn't matter. Superstar players aren't famous for what they can do in a camp pickup game. Terrence Williams would **** his pants if he was under the bright lights in the NBA finals, let alone a regular season game.

Diener+Kwame would have gone 7-0.

Fail.

Last I checked, Lebron James had the worst finals performance EVER for a player of his caliber. He added insult to injury by airballing a freethrow.

LOL who cares?! In case you didn't know the date is June 10th. It's ok to have a little fun in the summertime. Grab a drink and a marley and relax. We got Vegas Summer League on deck, with the euro qualifiers to follow, then the return of USA dominance in the Olympics. Relax and stop scrutinizing every little thing. I doubt Lebron initially felt like tomahawking on dudes in his own camp in Akron.

 I agee.

Here's DimeMag's writeup on this event. Scroll down to Monday, July 7. I'll bet the kids there were stoked to be a part of this camp.

http://dimemag.com/2008/07/basketball-t ... s-academy/

Also, I would've liked to had heard Eastman's speech on the 8th.

Today was the last day of camp and it started off with Coach Kevin Eastman speaking some truth to the HS players. Coach Eastman is a tremendous coach and a very powerful speaker. With an appropriate barrage of F-bombs, he really spit some honesty to the HS kids and told them some things they didn’t really want to hear, but desperately needed to. He told them they aren’t as good as they think they are, they are not even close to being ready for the NBA, and they need to rid themselves of the “hangers on” who leech their way into their lives. He explained why he believes many of the kids played selfishly the night before. He told them that to this point all people do is kiss their ass and they don’t take getting better serious.

Buddy calm down especially since you've never seen Terrence Williams play. The guy's not some scrub even if he's not close to LeBron's level. It was all in good fun.

I don't think so

the dream team were getting spanked so the college team sat a couple of their best players in the 2nd half including tim duncan and shea seals

EDIT: if your referring to the 1992 dream team that was played by Grant Hills lead select team than that doesn't count either since it was a scrimmage and if you remember the Dream Team were trying to play like the harlem globetrotters

Jazz suck. If you put LeBron next to Rasho instead of friggin' Deron Williams they would've won every game.

That college scrimmage team had Grant Hill, Allan Houston, Anfernee Hardaway, Jamal Mashburn, Chris Webber and a bunch of great shooters, they got lucky and made a ton of 3s.

None of the teams that the later Team USAs faced had anywhere remotely as good talent. And the Croatian team that the Dream Team ripped a new is considered by many the best international team ever.

Terrance Williams and Jonny Flynn are both future NBA players. The other two I've never seen, but they could be good also.

If it was Paul, James, Jackson, and two scrubs then they could also struggle, especially against 5 major conference D1 players. No doubt it would be fun games to watch.
