Why would the pats take a wideout, I understand linebacker but the pats are good at WR.

I get what you're saying but you've filled all your holes through free-agency and what not, and you're in a position to take the best valued player. Plus, are you really that great at WR? Chad Jackson- I love but the rest ....i don't know. Jarrett is also the perfect compliment to Jackson's speed so for me it makes good sense. I think a trade up might be possible too but we'll see

All the more reason to pick a WR like Jarrett. But for the future, a Jarrett/Jackson combo could be deadly.
