can the clippers sign ricky davis or bonzi wells?

do they have any cap space after the camby trade or do they only have the MLE? if they only have the MLE would wells or davis sign with us?

i think that both of them would be good back up sfs and could give us scoring off the bench.

Bonzi wells salary was 2.5 mil last year. Definitely signable. Ricky could be had for 3 or 4 mil I think. I'd prefer Bonzi though.

Ricky Davis is garbage. I said it when the Heat acquired him a year ago and i'll say it again, the guy will get you stats, but he won't win you any games.

^ Agreed. Ricky Davis is probably my least favorite player in the league, and Bonzi ain't exactly up there on my list of guys. If I had to chose, I'd go with Bonz.

I'd love Azubuike on this team. He could even start at the 2 and we could look to unload Mobley for depth.

I'd also love Mobley + TT for Barbosa. Barbosa can start at the SG, and could back up BD at the PG, and could make Knight expendable.

No, i doubt he's anything more than 3m/yr guy. Barbosa deal is horrible for the suns, they get nothing. they probably will ask for two future firsts unprotected :lol:

Bonzi is definitely a possibility. Azubuike is a RFA I'm pretty sure, GSW will match any offer the Clippers can afford unfortunately.

Guys in the Mo Evans ballpark are probably the most realistic option.

Here's a quick list of UFA's I think the Clips have a shot signing:

Sam Cassell
Devin Brown
Malik Allen
Austin Croshere
Michael Ruffin
Ryan Bowen
Brian Skinner
Kareem Rush
