Oh Knicks fans...

Post#1 » by Clip34life » Wed Jul 16, 2008 2:12 am

If you go over the Knicks board they're trashing the Clippers for trading for Camby instead of Zach Randolph. They're all crying and whining because the Clippers didn't take Randolph out of the Knicks' hand. They're consoling each other and saying that Walsh will find a way. It's really precious.

They obviously don't know a damn thing about Chris if they think we have absolutely no post offense at all.

Um, weren't the knicks the ones that turned that deal down? What a bunch of morons. I don't like the Camby move that much but it's waaaay better than the disaster that almost was in Zach Randolph.

you have cut your nose to spite your face with this move.....
z bo was the perfect fit for your team, basketball-wise
anyone who says otherwise is full of it or hasnt really watched him play
he is a bigtime post scorer and rebounder
still relatively young and in the past played well w/your current coach
whom im sure endorsed getting back his former player
isiah didnt do a good job coaching the team as we all know so i attribute
zach's bad shot selection and stagnation of the offense this year partly to freelancing in a a non disciplined system....i did say partly (even though he did average 2.0 assists per game)
as for the off the court stuff he wasnt in any trouble since coming to ny (and u guys know...in towns like mines and yours, trouble aint too hard to find)
and for that matter have any of the "jailblazers" been in any run-ins with the law after leaving portland? i have my own thoughts that ill keep to myself on that......
camby is good but with kaman and jordan (signed) hes rendundant
so without a couple follow up transactions i see this trade as an un/necessary
move to appease fans and baron for losing brand/maggette
thats all
two boneheaded gms put their boneheads together and did a boneheaded panic move
lets see how much u guys clown us at the end of your season
we as knick fans understand and accept our expectations this year
but with the moves you guys made thus far in the off-season
anything less than advancing to the second round in the playoffs will be a failure
good luck maybe u can have denvers spot

That is the biggest load of homer propaganda crap I've ever heard. Randolph has always been a black hole, he has a toxic contract, and he's absolute crap defensively. The clippers would be complete morons to do a deal for him. Also, if you're so pissed about the clippers not taking Randolph then be pissed at Walsh for turning down the same deal that was made for Camby.

Blah blah blah. ever heard of the word DEFENCE? It's what win's championships in the NBA. Apparently "Z-BO" doesn't know it either, and therefore cannot play it on the court. He's useless to a team that wants to compete. Hell, hes useless, period.

D*ck post. Most posters on our board are bashing our own GM for not unloading Zach when we had the chance. You're just trying to pile on Knick fans, which is about as unoriginal as you can get.

I must say I'm a little peeved when I see fans from another forum bashing my team for making a move because it didn't help their team. That's a little bush league. But that I can tolerate. What I can't tolerate are comments to the effect of "Stupid Clippers, they're being cheap trading for Marcus Camby instead of doing what it takes to win by trading for Zach Randolph, who is a better player on a more expensive contract." Comments like those are liable to have someone lose all credibility.

As a Clippers fan I'm sympathetic to fans of a dysfunctional organization, what I don't tolerate is bashing another team for making a good move, especially a team whose fans have gone through what we have. Even the Lakers fans are giving us kudos, what does that say about your class and what a real "d*ck" move is.

As far as the Knicks go, I wish you all the best, whether you reciprocate is your prerogative, not mine.

I'm not sure why you quoted me since you didn't respond to what I said. You are mischaracterizing Knick fans and the Knicks board with this thread. The only post I've seen from a Knick fan that criticizes your management for this move is in this thread. If there are posts to this effect on the Knicks board, they are few and far between. For some reason, you wanted to create a thread bashing Knick fans and act like you're some sort of victim.

I absolutely positively do not regret Walsh turning down the deal whatsover. I do regret that nothing was worked out because I think it would have been a good move for both teams. But I do not regret giving Randolph away in any way shape or form. As a Knick fan why would I want to?

Haven't you learned that people will never let facts in the way of their arguments especially when it comes to the Knicks.

Wow man. You sound absolutely distraught that ZBo wasn't traded for a 2nd rounder. If he is as good as you say he is then you should be thrilled with what has happened. Of course, you and I both know the truth: Zach is one of the worst players in the league, a stat stuffer, a lockerrom cancer and a ghost on defense. I know exactly what you're going through, I would be pretty upset if that turd was on my team too, I lived your nightmare last year.

As far as your "former Jailblazers" remark. Do explain. I can't speak for all of them, but I'm pretty sure Telfair got in some gun trouble in Boston. Miles just got suspended for drugs. JR Rider is still getting busted all the time. The problem with those guys in Portland was always overblown, but anyone with half a brain can tell you that the source of the problem was that our team had a high concentration of losers. You can have one or two of these guys on a team and be OK, but when your roster is loaded with scumbags things are going to go wrong.

Great move on getting Camby, well maybe not "great" but certainly a solid move. I am not a huge Clippers fan but I do follow the team from time to time and I got a sick feeling in my stomach when I heard they may acquire the black hole that is Zach Randolph.

Do not let Knick fans fool you they are the worst  , if Randolph is so good why do they go from board to board telling every team they should have traded for him. You have to remember you are dealing with people that think Wilson Chandler is the next Lebron James and that their team is going to make the playoffs.

It appears Okafor and Smith could not have been had, if that is the case this was probably the best move you guys could have made. Good luck in the upcoming season

Alright, the Clippers and Knicks have both sucked awhile... both are doing things to get better... Knicks will be glad they didn't do the Randolph trade one day... blah blah blah.. let's end this bash fest.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
