i posted this in the trades area as well:
Pacers In:
Charlie V
Haslem

Bucks In:
Foster
Tinsley
D Cook

Heat In:
Marcus Wiliams
Ind 2010 2nd

IND WHY - Get value back for Tinsley. Enough said.

MIL WHY - I have read on here that the #1 priority is shopping marcus, and have also heard bucks have interest in foster and tinsley.

MIA WHY - They get a much needed point and a pick. this would be an upgrade from the tinsley for haslem straight up for sure.

You could sub out marcus for bell and mason if needed
Also might be able to to get MIL to send MIA a 2nd as well not sure though

Do you mean Maurice Williams of the Bucks? I obviously like the deal but I dont think the Bucks would do it, they are giving up too much IMO. Mo Williams has alot of value and Charlie V has decent value. I would do it in a heartbeat but I doubt Milwaukee is that desperate to dump those two.

Why not cut out the Heat, we dont need Haslem if we get Charlie V.

For the record, it's Maurice "Mo" Williams, not Marcus.

I'd do it, and I think the Heat probably would as well. Remember, they offered a nice sized contract ($8Mish I believe) to Mo back in 2007.

I can't see Milwaukee doing it though, unless they really value Jeff Foster. Cook would be a pretty nice SG prospect for them.

Honestly I cant see it, they would be giving away arguably the two best players in the trade. Crazier things have happen though, its not a bad idea at all.

the only reason i think it has wings at all is because bucks fans seem to think that #1 priority is sending out Mo. I don't know why ii dont follow him. that and the upgrade from charlie to foster is in their favor. talent wise i think tinsley and foster are upgrades throw in d cook and i thought they got good value back. but who knows really im starting to think if its rumored or talked about chanes are its not happening. bird likes to come out of left field.

As a Miami fan, I would do a Foster/Tinsley for Banks/Haslem. Miami needs a center and might consider taking on Tinsleys long contract. As much as ya'll crash on Banks, there is really nobody that will take on Tinsley's contract unless you unload something worthwhile.

the Bucks also want to move CV because they don't think he'll respond to their new coach.

LINK
Larry Bird said he hopes to trade for or sign a power forward and is confident he can trade point guard Jamaal Tinsley. The Pacers tried to solve both issues in one deal by offering Tinsley to Miami for power forward Udonis Haslem, but the Heat are reluctant to give up Haslem.

From the quote above, Haslem for Tinsley is off, much more Haslem for M-Will.

Foster > Haslem
Tinsley > Banks

Talent wise I think both Pacer players are better. Contract size wise foster and haslem are close to the same but i might give foster the edge since his is one year shorter. Contract length wise tinsley and banks are close to the same but i might give banks the edge since his is smaller in size. Also this trade fills 2 needs for miami PG, and C. For the Pacers it only fills depth. Thats why I dont like this trade. Put anyone in besides banks and i like it. But i dont think any other salary mathes. Blount maybe. But maimi is already thin at C. Now I would do Tinsley, Shawne, and a future 2nd FOR Haslem and D Cook.

Foster's both more productive and the better defender. Haslem played more minutes last year, but then again, the Heat were tanking.....

I'd do the deal, by the way. I'd prefer Blount's 2 year contract, but I'd settle for Banks'. He's $2-3M less per season than Jamaal.

Actually, Banks' production and game looks pretty similar to Jack's....
