USA Select Team Announced

The ten players named to the USA Basketball Select Team include: LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trail Blazers); Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City NBA); Jeff Green (Oklahoma City NBA); Luther Head (Houston Rockets); Al Horford (Atlanta Hawks); Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers); Kevin Martin (Sacramento Kings); O.J. Mayo (Memphis Grizzlies); Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls) and Rodney Stuckey (Detroit Pistons).

i don't see how Head fit within all those names
i mean beside Martin and Head the rest are all lottery picks or in the 10s
we all know how great Martin is

Why not Marvin Williams? Perfect complement to Head. What's the Select team?

Sometimes you have to practice against the guy who misses all his shots in the playoffs.

Makes sense to me.

(Sadly, Craig Biggio only plays baseball. The pickings must be slim at USABasketball.)

The Olympic version of the Washington Generals. Aaron Brooks was on it last year.

So perhaps Morey can now trade Brooks for Head...while both their stocks are still high.

There seems to be a misconception here that he's actually going to play. He's on the roster to carry the real players bags. That's all he was brought in for.
