Here's a new idea that I like...
Kings deal:
Ron Artest
Brad Miller
Mikki Moore
Nuggets deal:
Kenyon Martin
Carmelo Anthony
Why for Sacramento: We get a #1 scoring option to complement Martin. Kings sacrifice some future cap to get another piece to help them build for the future.
Why for Denver: They fill 3 positions for the less than the price of 2. Melo and Artest are basically a push talent wise. Brad gives the Nuggets a center to work with and Moore give them another 4/5 for some frontcourt depth. This trade gives the Nuggets a shot to compete for the next couple of years and then have the ability to slash some salary.
Kings new roster:
C: Spencer Hawes, Shelden Williams
PF: Jason Thompson, Kenyon Martin, K9, SAR
SF: Carmelo Anthony, Francisco Garcia, Pat Ewing Jr.
SG: Kevin Martin, John Salmons, Quincy Douby
PG: Beno Udrih, Sean Singletary
Kings fully commit to their youth movement.
Nuggets new roster:
C: Brad Miller, Steven Hunter
PF: Mikki Moore, Nene
SF: Ron Artest, Linas Kleiza
SG: Allen Iverson, JR Rider
PG: Chucky Atkins, Taurean Green
Nuggets stay competive while slashing salary.
