How Jason Giambi spent All Star weekend

Just sipping on a lil' Jack in Vegas. He said he didn't want to be in the HR Derby if he wasn't in the ASG because then he'd only be in NY for 1 night. Someone should remind Jason that there is plenty of Jack to be had in this city.

I love that in "every night on the town" picture of him he's either drinking jack or making that stupid face while he signs girls boobs. The one where he's with all the Asian girls is pretty awesome too.

Good for Jason. Judging from the amount of watching the paparazzi gave Jeter and especially ARod, there's no way the Stacheman gets to have a good time in New York without a round of righteous indignation from at least a few city columnists a few days after.

I'm curious about Giambi's future with the Yankees. This is his last year of his contract right? Do you think the Yankees will bring him back and at what cost?

There is a club option at somewhere between 20-25 million I believe. They will most likely decline that option & depending on how he finishes the seasons they might decide to bring him back or let him go.

Depends on what kind of contract Tex wants. I honestly see us going HARD after the following 3 guys

CC
Sheets
Tex

We probably sign on of the pitchers (probably CC) & Tex. Phil Hughes will not be able to pitch an entire season next year because he's missed so much this year. It will be interesting to see how the Yankee brass handles him. I expect Kennedy to be kept in the minors for awhile.
