Yup, KB. Doc Rivers was outcoached by Mike Woodson in a 7 game series and his team still won a title.

Another thing that I realized...why would Smith decide that he wants out NOW(because of Woody) considering that his agent was the one pushing for an extension last year when the tension was at an all time high with Woodson. I will say it again...if Smith wants out it's because our ownership has done a horrible job in negotiating with him.

"With the uncertainty surrounding the organization you would think that they would want to sign a player who has made it clear to them that he wants to be here [in Atlanta] and shown that he wants to improve as a player," said Wallace Prather, one of Smith's agents. "And it's very disappointing that they're not making it a priority."

Why use logic when you can freak out over a "league source".

I swung by Hawksquawk.net, those folks are nut jobs about this.

... but yeah, I'm definitely going to wait until someone connected with the Smith camp actually says something.

I was listening to 680 today (just now actually) and they had a guy on from si talking about the smith thing. The way he was talking, it seemed as if what he was saying was based off of stuff back in Feb., not recent stuff that has been said.

That's what Mannix said in his article- that the Bucher report was similar to what he reported in February. Nice inside info, this guy is such a loser.
