Well I live in the suburbs so crime isn't a problem. I'd take all that with some tolerance and separation of religion and state.

i find this funny considering biggest religious cult scandals seems to come out of Texas.

Also, city that produced George W. Bush shouldnt talk about tolerance.

I don't consider myself Texan or have any kind of Texas pride since I'm foreign so anything ya'll (pretty much the only thing Texan about me. I use the plural you. It's useful) say about Texas I don't really care. There are some despicable to downright boring places in Texas (like Waco, ugh) but I would still take all of those places over Utah, America's anus.

From him going from New Jersey, actually from New York (because he lives in New York), from New York to Milwaukee is like going … let’s just say it’s not going to sit well with you.

Yeah, I can't see why anyone would think that Gilbert is bashing Milwaukee here.

If you knew the nature of Gil and Richard's relationship..you wouldn't pay this a second thought.
Those two clown on each other constantly. It goes back to thier college days.

Gil knew Jefferson was pissed at being traded. This was just something to screw with him about.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Two players sign with the Bucks in the past two days. But nobody wants to play in Milwaukee, right Gilbert?

I get that. That doesn't mean he wasn't attacking Milwaukee.

Say my friend is going out with some girl I know, and I want to give him a hard time about it. I tell him "man that chick is f'ing uglier then hell." Say she hears this. And then I say "nah, wasn't making fun of you. I was giving my boy a hard time." Think that excuse will work?

He said "NO Players want to play in Milwaukee." Well, Tyronn Lue and Malik Allen are NBA players. Plus, the players on the Bucks like it here. Ray Allen also liked it here. TJ Ford cried when he was traded from Milwaukee. I could go on and on..

Texas has dry counties where you can't buy any sort of alcohol. Utah has none.

By the way, I'm a Korean-American and as a foreigner (been here for 8 years), having visited SLC and lived in Houston, I will never go back to that god-forsaken, backwards place ever.

Please, don't. I'm sure the residents of the state are very happy to hear that. I know I would be if I lived there.

While you're at it, please don't visit Denver either. In return, I won't visit Houston. Then again, nobody visits Houston. I've never heard anyone say "honey, we're going to HOUSTON for vacation!"

 and I've heard of a "honey, we're going to UTAH for vacation" millions of times

Utah is one of the premier ski destinations in the US, and Salt Lake happens to be quite close to most of the major resorts. Ski Magazine voted Deer Valley the best ski area in North America. Not to mention Park City is just a hop skip and a jump away.

You may not like to ski, but there are people who do and yes, they do fly to Utah to do it.

Gil dawgs one of his best friends, doesn't even say anything remotely insulting about the city, yet gets ripped for being an ****?? Some of you are way too sensitive. Take the panties off.

He said that every player hates the city and no one wants to live there.

I would say that was a tad insulting.

Ever stop to think that maybe he's basing that off what he's actually heard and been told...*gasp* think of the implications. :o

A couple of my friends from D.C told me that the city sucks, now I'm telling you....guess I just insulted the nation's capital.

This is more of a question, but I always thought that besides being the capital and rich area by all the landmarks that DC was a real poor city with a lot of crime? Thats just what I heard and was more wondering if it was true?

Also, its crazy to think he is not insulting Milwaukee, I was actually going to say the same example of the girl. I agree with the guy earlier who said its just not for most NBA players. Thats why guys like D mason and Andrew Bogut like it so much. Nice quite city, with great festivals on the lake.

Gil has a right to his opinion, but why does NBA run crap like that on its website. And the stupid comment saying "every high school kid has a way out now" when talking about Jennings going to Europe. As if getting free college is a horrible thing to do to a young impressionable African-American.
I have a hard time listening to anything this guy says, he is way too in to himself. It was fine when he was 'proving himself' but now that everyone sees him as a star he still always find something to complain or preach about.

For a lot of these guys, college really isn't the answer. And neither might be the NBA. Which means euroleague IS a way out. College is for people who are academically inclined. If you have the skills in a profession to command over a 1 million dollars, why is college deemed more appropriate? If anything, being forced into college as a pawn in their college revenue schemes seems far worse.

D.C used to be really crime ridden but that is changing. I guess many people perceive D.C. as it was in the 1980's. I've lived in many places and the D.C area is by far the best I've ever lived in. Its an EXTREMELY affluent area. D.C. schools are not good but the D.C area in general has some of the nation's best schools. You've got a great mix of cultures and plenty of jobs. Largely due to the Federal Government.

Basically you couldn't pay me to live in another area. But thats just my opinion.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.
