Hawks at the RMR

Post#1 » by td00 » Fri Jul 18, 2008 8:03 pm

The summer league Hawks kick off their summer RMR schedule today at 4:30 versus the Mavs.

Here is a link from the Utah Jazz website with rosters / game times / RMR team records:

http://www.nba.com/jazz/Revue/rmr2008_s ... .html#day1

Since the Hawks aren't making any roster news, thought this would help some with getting some progress towards building the '08 roster.

If you want to watch it in Windows Media Player to be able to resize as you want, you can copy this Link with a right-click on the link, choose "Copy the shortcut" (Internet Explorer) or "Copy link address" (Firefox) , then start Windows Media Player, press CTRL+U and paste it in the box, then press OK.

Thanks for posting the link. I wonder if we can go up-tempo like that in the regular season?

Didn't Sund give a qualifying offer to Richardson? I want him and West back on the team next year.

Acie Law says he has something to prove....he definitely didn't prove himself in this game. 3 for 13 shooting, 5 TOs, and only 2 assists in 23 mins...yuck. Hopefully he makes his mark in all the other games. If not I will start to get a little worried about him if he can't even play well against D-League talent.

Again....These games mean very little. The two best players on the SL team last year(Law and Shelden)both went on to have disappointing years. Infact people were actually saying Shelden wasn't a wasted pick and that we shouldn't trade him(despite being protected as the 3rd string center)and used his meaningless numbers in April and Summer League to justify their point. Marvin also had a very disappointing 2nd year after winning the MVP of the SL in 2006.

These games are basically scrimmages that the fans can watch and critique. There is no point of getting worried about a players performance in SL(especially after the first game which we saw with Rose).

Is there a webcast of the game? I see there was a link posted here for yesterday's game, I would love to watch my J-Rich ball, no surprise to see him doing well.

yeah go here, click on watch live at the top when it's game time. The feed sucked yesterday because it kept freezing but I hope it's fixed today.

http://www.nba.com/jazz/Revue/rmr2008.html

but yeah JRich was killing em yesterday. On one one he caught the ball dribbled to his right and stopped on a dime and rised up over the guy and hit the J in his face.Mario even hit a long J from the corner.Looks like he's been working on his offense,if he gets that jumper down he's got his spot locked.
