Is Foyle going to be the new Bo Outlaw. The guy you sign because he a real nice guy. Not hating on Foyle but he should be 4th string next year. How many centers you really need when your number one will likely play 36 minutes per game. This team now has 4 centers but not 1 legit PF. IMO Battie is a center as he has no real forward skills.

Never hurts to have added insurance in case someone goes down.

We may need 2 guys to go down for Foyle to play much.

Foyle is largely a replacement of Garrity's roster slot at this point. He will be a practice squad guy that works with Howard to play simulated defense to help Dwight develop some offensive moves.

... or Battie is not healed. Any press on the shoulder?

Kwame would be a much better choice over Foyle. Dwight would have a great big man defender to practice against. Kwame doesn't do much overall but I have seen the guy lock down Yao, Duncan and other big time post players.

I don't mind Foyle coming back at all. Would I have preferred someone younger and hungrier? Yeah. But Foyle is a pro's pro and will do his job when minutes come his way. It could be worse, we could still have Omal Mccaskal. All I know is Gortat needs to get some time this year, if the playoffs were an indication, that guy could be a good player some day.

You gotta love the enthusiasm of some fans but honestly resigning a scrub big we already had on the roster that everyone knows is a scrub is really begging bread as a great move. At the very most its a bleh move of no consequence and at the least it may be a telegraph that Otis intends to do little or nothing about our pathetic big situation.

IF Otis doesn't pull off the Critt deal then this doesn't get him back to an A. Maybe a B- for Pietrus who although I am for is not the second coming of MJ and may be a risk if he fails to live up to the potential as he has so far in his career.

Foyle for around the vet. minimum is a great deal for the Magic. He is a great practice squad guy, a moral fit for Mr. Amway, and a player that can come in cold off of the bench when he's needed.

From the Magic side, Adonal Foyle is an insurance player. If either Battie or (shudder) Howard goes down, having Foyle will be the difference to resist the total implosion of losses.

Total nonsense. The word "great" has a meaning and there is no way signing a scrub "great practice squad guy" player that you already had on your team is a "Great" anything. Its an average move at best. Nothing is wrong with average moves. every season teams do average moves but to blow this up to something monumental is just a sign of desperation.

Foyle will be the difference to resist the total implosion of losses

:rofl2:

You gotta be kidding.

LOL

Foyle adds little to the roster except height and weight.

If there is an implosion of losses due to injuries, Foyle won't stop any of that.

LOL.

And to think, Weisbrod offered him Hedo's contract first......

Like others say I think I would rather have Kwame. Hell I would even take on Darius Miles
