Tickets to 2009 All Star Game

Does anyone know how/where to buy tickets to the 2009 all star game or even the slam dunk contest? I looked on Stubhub but they start at over $500 a ticket. Where can you buy these at face value?

$500? That's outrageous! Where is this world going to? $500 for a stupid basketball game, where it doesn't even matter who wins. PFFT!

LOL can't you sit courtside at an NBA game for like a third of that?

As far as pricing goes, I dunno where you'd find face - typically you'd only have to pay this far over face if all were sold out, so that makes me wonder - are they even officially on sale yet? Because I feel like once the tickets are physically out on the market this will not be a market clearing price until sellout.

Yeah unless you're a season ticket holder good luck finding face prices. Guess what happens when demand exceeds supply? Prices go up.

How does being a season ticket holder help? You dont get to use your tickets or anything...Whats benefit of being a season ticket holder? I would like to know cause this is my third year with season tickets.

He was probably thinking that season ticket holders get All-Star game priority on tickets like they get on playoff tickets.

I'm a season ticket holder too. We get priority (but no guarantees).
