This hasn't been mentioned anywhere in print, but I wanted to know if anyone thinks the mavericks trying to get Walter Hermann would be a good idea?

He should head to Europe, raise his stock back up.

Hermann doesn't really address the Mavericks need of athleticism, but the man knows how to play basketball. I think he could be a cheap effective option if he were to sign here. He's a tougher player than Van Horn and Croshere, so you wouldn't have to worry about Walter being a complete bust of a signing. He has a pretty good jumper and will grab a few rebounds. Hermann won't blow you away with his ability obviously, but he's a smart player and will bring a little energy into the game. Chances are though he'll sign with a team in Europe or with the Spurs.

Why do you feel he'd settle for vet min? He's a MLE guy enter the league.
He'd get great offer in Europe.
