Darius Washinton?

Well, if Otis doesn't bring in a young bigger guard do you think Washington should be a choice? He is still young, a hometown boy and played decent with the Spurs last year.. He is 6'2" and quite athletic even though he has to battle weight problems(As does his father)..But if worst comes to worst and we need a cheap 3rd guard, I really like DWash, and feel he would be a good fit for that role.

I watched when he would play for the Spurs early last season on League Pass. He's gotten more acclimated to the NBA game since he left Memphis, but he has a lot of work ahead of him.

The biggest problem with this proposal is that Darius is a shoot-first PG, or combo guard or whatever you want to call it. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I'd like more of a distributor to fill out the remaining PG spot.

I remember seeing him play in a preseason game last year and being very impressed.

The big news out of Las Vegas for pg's this year is Bobby Brown who was undrafted last year he played a year abroad and apparently has really improved his game.
He played in the summer league out there with the Hornets and played so well that Chris Paul was asked by the Hornets to personally invite him to the Hornets training camp in Oct. He is 6'1".

Washington still needs more experience. Probably in the D-league or somewhere in Europe.

I think I agree with just keeping Arroyo at this point, we at least know what he'll do, and Van Gundy can counteract that. Besides Carlos can have a kick ass game every once in a while.

DW still isn't very good.

I don't think he'd be good "project" material for the Magic.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
