Wade and LeBron in 2010...

Post#1 » by BlaZeN27 » Sun Jul 20, 2008 2:49 am

I was wondering, how much can a max offer from someone other than there own team be? Like the starting salary for player with 7 years in the NBA.

EDIT: I was told it was 30% of the cap, is that correct?

Also, does anyone have a link to show the max starting salary for players with a certain amount of years in the NBA?

Is 2010 not when the CBA ends? Wouldn't the numbers most likely be different? How much change can one expect between the old and new CBA's?

Anyone think it would be absolutly insane if these two both ended up on the same squad, like the Cavs will have 30 mil in cap space after signing Lebron in 2010, they could make a run at Wade. The thought of that would be insane.

Miami should have a lot of cap too, LeBron coming to Miami is more likely then Wade going to Cleveland.

In all honesty, I don't see one or the other joining one another. Just because I think they want to be able to "win" on their own, which would justify their stance in this league and the game even more so.

It would definitely be nice to see a duo of LeBron and Wade running down the court on a 2-1 fast break and the limitless possibilities that has the potential to become.

LeBron & Wade in Miami for 2010

^^Not quite but it'd be risky enough to offer Wade the max at that age. He's a player that's been amazing because of his athleticism and he needs to prove that he can do more without it.

D-Wade has that dependable bank shot from 15ft too, he needs to work on his outside game more.
