Robert Horry

Post#1 » by Cigamodnalro » Sun Jul 20, 2008 4:41 am

RC Buford says he wont be back with the Spurs next season (http://spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101551) . I'm not sure that Orlando would have any interest in him at all (or vice versa), but he'd be a fantastic backup PF for us. His shooting and defensive hustle fit in with what we're trying to do, he has playoff experience, and he is the dirty guy off the bench that we've been missing since Bo-sizzle.

I would absolutely love that move. We would be assured a championship trophy if he decided to come here just because of the "Robert Horry Factor"

NO. Horry is nothing more than dirty plays at this point. He should retire because he sucks as a player now.

The guy was plain awful in SA last year, and he didn't even come to life in the playoffs, which is where he made his rep. Father time has finally caught up with him, no way we should make him an offer.

He is more likely to sign with the Rockets than any either team.

Horry is horrible. Besides, I still remember what he did to us in '95.

At this point Cook is probably a better player.

I don't know for the minimum he might be ok as a bench player with a lot of experience.

I see little reason to bring him to Orlando. I don't think he's worth the vet min either.
