^^^ that line up really hinders on whether Simmons can return to form. That line up isn't a playoff team but I'm actually fine with that line up. If we're not gonna be a playoff team, I may as well enjoy our roster, which I do. I just am really curious as to what other moves we're gonna make.

Well one way to cut the roster is someone just putting out an offer to Krstic and the Nets not matching it. Krstic has just come back from an injury and other teams will probably offer something less than what he's expecting. The Nets could match it, but you're going to have to add him to the long list of players we can't trade before Dec. 15. With Thorn still high on Krstic, if any offer is low enough, I still think he'll match it anyway, but I think this is where he'll start another S&T.

definitely...I cant wait to hear some real reports on Bobby's health...and as Rich said our next move could be dictated off what happens with Krstic...Boone is considered a center so I understand his value from that perspective...he's an avg defender at best (obvious he can get better)...I do believe he's an above avg rebounder, specifically off. boards...but w/ Boone getting fouled more and more around the glass, he starts to really kills us at the ft line, or has the potential to...Sean plays bigger than he is and imo is an all around better player than Boone...I hate to give this guy up because we're looking to keep Boone for our center slot...a couple years down the road we might be kicking ourselves that we traded Sean away and still have Boone on our roster...

Honestly, I'm not too worried about size with this team or matchups...I rather go smaller with better talent than try to fill a perfect depth chart...(note: Lopez should be pushed along as fast as possible at the center position)...

Am I the only one who doesn't think Simmons is gonna play much this year. He hasn't been healthy in 2 years, due to injuries his defense has fallen off and you guys know how frank loves his defensive players.

I'm hoping Najera and Hayes share the minutes at the 3.

its 50-50...I know his health hasnt been good over the last 2 yrs in Mil...though I'm really hoping the Nets didnt trade for Bobby as just a filler...I hope they were informed/or know Bobby/Dr's are anticipating a turn around year with his health...but I do believe we picked up Hayes/Ed as you said for that insurance...so no your not...I'm just optimistic type of fan, a fan of Simmons and hopeful he will have a turn-around year for the Nets...

He actually played pretty damn well at the end of last season. I feel that as long as he doesn't try to overextend and play outside his realm, he can come close to matching what he did his last year in LA. I really like him, but I really like Jarvis Hayes too. If one of them can become a consistant 14ppg, 3-5 rebs, 2-4 ast, I am fine with that. I don't think that's asking too much. Hell if we could get 20-25 points a game between the 2 of them I'd be fine honestly. We just can't put too high expectations on them.

hell yeah...I think if you look at it from that perspective...combined, they'll both fill the SF position
nicely...while being able to have those break out scoring nights...
