I'm happy that we didn't give up on him, he's so young and showed signs of maturity and looked like he could be a point guard we need.

I wonder if Devean George is still considered a possibility now.

Good news indeed. I liked Telfair a lot better than most of the options being discussed as alternatives.

It all depends on the contract size and length to me. I liked Telfair when he was on the court though.

If anyone hears what the contract specs for Telfair or Craig Smith, please post them.

Multi-year. Unless it's a wicked small contract, I hope that means 2 years.

I'm happy for Bassy. This is a big step in his career. Maybe things didn't work out for him...maybe he settled, but just maybe he made a mature decision. He decided to stick with the team that's helped and will continue to help him become the best PG he can be. I am happy for him, and I also think the Wolves are better for it. I think Bassy has a better head on his shoulders than his cousin Starbury.
"Dude, all I am saying is we already have a starting RB, his name is Chester Taylor. Besides AP isn't that good anyways. I hope we draft McFadden." --Me after he broke the record.

well we filled the biggest need on our roster.
Foye/Telfair
McCants/Brewer
Miller/Carney
Jefferson/Smith/Cardinal/Madsen
Love/Collins/Booth

That's 15 guaranteed contracts...but there are some guys that we could easily waive...and a 3rd PG would be nice. Maybe Pooh Jeter.

nice! Telfair is better than any other FA PG that we could still currently find in the market..............plus he's familiar with the Wolves system and joins the young group of wolves to explore the future together as he's only 23.

i wonder now what we gonna do with Mr Gomes

^^That was my first thoughts. I never thought the FO intended to keep all of our FA's. I expected Craigers to be the odd man out however. I think this is a last goodbye for Gomes, I hate to say it cuz he is such a great role player.

I dont see Booth on the opening day roster. As for Bassy, I am very glad we decided to bring him back. Really happy he is coming back. Hopefully he keeps making good decisions and keeps his head on straight. Good to have him back.

By trading O.J. Mayo we were able to get Miller and Love...but we also were able to retain Bassy and we were allowed to keep McCants.

Miller + Love + Bassy + McCants >>>>>>>>>> Mayo...

What a great trade this is turning into.

Isn't that 13? Or are you counting Gomes and Richard?

Glad to see him back. He definitely has pure PG skills that we need.
