At first, I thought you were serious, and I was almost doomed at the thought of going to the war (going to be 18 soon) :(

Dude. Heart attack. Seriously.

Nah not really. But still.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

yea that's not funny, lol. I wouldn't be eligible to be drafted anyway because i'm the only son (gotta carry on that family gene! lol), but yea, not cool.

I can just picture George getting a kick out of that though in a bar...

"heh heh heh...i'm funny as hell, heh heh heh"

Thats great, lol. I wasn't worried, I've already served over 8 years. Noway that I'm going. I'll hang back for home defense and join a militia or something.

I wasn't worried, cos I'm not a U.S national and I live in Canada. But I imagine a few people turned their Fruit of the Looms into fudge factories when they saw the thread title. :D Well played, Sir.

They would never bring back the Draft. The young voters would really come out in droves against it.

If he did try it, his approval might actually get below 20 percent.

The draft is such a bad idea. Unmotivated soldiers don't win wars, they lose them.

Having said that, well played, sir. Tip of the hat.

In the 1950's about 10% of male Ivy league graduates served in the military because of the draft. Now, it's about 0.1% through volunteerism. Clearly the military suffers from a reduced quality of its soldiers because it is a volunteer army; particularly in times of war. This is a ying-yang issue. Quality vs. motivation.

But as for the photo of President Bush with Frm. Prime Minister Blair, it was widely reported that even though Blair took Bush to a pub and had a pint himself, Bush ordered a soda. Bush has not drank any alcohol in about 20 years.

Edit: not sure why someone edited inappropriate themes into my text. Shame :(
I edited them out.

I don't know just what it says about me, but when I saw the thread title I instantly thought of draft beer. Maybe its just too early in the morning.
