Last night vs IR Iran, I was most impressed with Korolev. He really pressured the ball well and played very solid team defense, all this despite the fact that our ball hogging tunnel visioned point guards refused to involve anyone except themselves in the offense.

The more I see Mo struggle, the more I hope we match Cj's offer.

Your right I watched again the other night I really don't like his game,no more Mo Nuts!

Yeah, I've been a bit disapointed in Mo, but I also wonder how he would look with Deron Williams at the other guard spot. The Jazz point guards in the review have been beyond horrible at running an offense.

Almond's has been the center of attention for every team playing the Jazz. I'm not all that surprised he hasn't been playing well. Not to mention he isn't getting any help from any of the other guards.

I think once he gets into the Jazz system and starts really understanding the speed of the game, and has an opportunity to play next to Deron Williams he should be able to do some of the things he was good at in college.

I think he'll be fine, remember, CJ never played well in the RMR either.

It doesn't seem that Almond is interested in doing anything but score.

I haven't watched him a lot but that is the impression that I got...

I for one have been impressed by Almond. His defense has been solid, his shot has been falling, and he is being more aggressive at attacking the rim. He had a really good game tonight vs. the Nets.

Brazelton was awesome tonight. His stats were awesome when you consider that he only played in the 2nd half. 18 pts, 4 assts. I hope he gets a camp invite for us. I also was impressed again tonight by Korolev. Excellent shooter, and plays aggressive D.

Fess and Koufos were non existent again tonight. I keep waiting for Koufos to show me anything but it never comes. Fess atleast has been up and down.

I have been disappointed in Almond's shot selection and his passing, but otherwise he's played well.

I really liked how he gets into the lane and draws fouls with pump fakes, and his dunk the other night that didn't count because of a carry was very impressive. He's more athletic then I thought.

I think he will have a place, and if he can get to the foul line consistently he will be in great shape.

I would also like to see Brazelton play more and get an invite, he looked better then Hart tonight.

Brazleton and Almond **** OWNED last night. I wish we didn't have Hart and could take on Brazleton.

Brazleton, Fuller and Korolev will get invited to camp and one of them will make the team.

If the Jazz don't match, I can see them taking a chance on Korolev, and I wouldn't be suprised to see Brazelton beat Hart outright for #3 PG.

I would be shocked if the Nets don't sign JC Carroll. He has been their best guard in the summer league, and they are looking for a combo guard for their team. His defense needs to inprove, but he can flat out score from just about anywhere.

I talked to someone really high up in the Jazz organization today (I live in Utah) and he didn't sound happy with Fesenko at all. He said he's been playing horrible in the Summer league, and mentioned that his hair is alienating him from Jerry Sloan. I thought that was pretty funny. Is Jerry Sloan that strict that someone having odd hair might affect his relationship with that player? Anyone have a picture of his hair by the way? I'm interested in seeing how bad/crazy it actually is. Oh, and he also said he's really happy with the team and has high hopes for the team this year, and that he likes the rookie you guys drafted this year and he seems to have pretty high hopes for him.

As you can tell by my sig, I'm a Laker fan, but just thought I'd post this if anyone was interested.

I think that you get a pass on those two things in summer league. Offense in summer league, and especially with this years Jazz RMR team is horrible. The funny thing is his shot selection is not half as bad as Gerald Greens has been, but Green has been getting positive reviews @ the RMR.

I agree! This RMR team is pretty bad. They have no point guard except of that kid who went nuts in the Nets game. Mo Nuts still needs to work on his passing however, his ability to take it to the hole has impressed me.Big Fes has looked slow in progress and Koufos looks scared out there! Not much is going to come out of this summer league, except if we don't match CJ then Mo might get some minutes.

I'm loving the Hot Rod-Matt Harpring combo. I wouldn't mind Matt getting a media job for the Jazz after he retires. I also thought it was interesting that he said he was pulling for Fesenko. I just figured Fes and Matt wouldn't get along.

Dude Kosta just made the sweetest block and then got an and-one on the other side. I really like how he can run the floor.

Line of the night by Harpring about the refs,

Harpring: "Where is the home cookin?"
Hot Rod: "Guess we need to treat them better!"
Harpring: "We'll take them out to dinner after the game!"

Fesenko is blocking shots which is nice, at the very least he could come in a few minutes a game in the future and be a shot blocker, even if his offense never develops.

Finally the Jazz have someone who can get to the line like Morris Almond. One of the most underrated stats in the NBA is a players ability to get freebies.

Having a guy who can get 6-10 free-throws every game makes the Jazz a better team. Even though Almond won't get the same calls he gets in the NBDL in the NBA, he is still good at selling a foul in the paint.

I was wondering if someone who saw the game could give their impressions on Fes's play? Stat-wise I am seeing some encouraging things, but it seems he only plays 12min a game. How does he look?
