I liked seeing how Tuck was efficient in the he scored. He did not jack up shots like Bayless or Greene, he was smart about his shots. He did not force it, he played as a teammate, but scored the ball in all different ways. I liked that. Shows his basketball IQ, but also shows that he can be a solid player for us as a backup SG. I think he will see time at the start of the season, and who we bring in as a backup PG, and if barbs or Diaw gets traded, that all will affect him as a player, and the time he gets.

But I can tell you, your scoring over 20 a game, shooting near 60%, coach’s love that.

He could be a Summerleague/DLeague All-Star!

But seriously, I hope you're right. I'm a little bit skeptical of how he'll fit in, you're probably right about minutes early in the season but unless we unload Barbs and don't get a SG in return PT at the 2 and 3 is looking pretty tight. Although if he proves he can produce on the court then unlike Barbs and DJ he's not a SG stuck in a PG body.

I know, he is an all star in the summer/D league. The thing is, he shot the ball well. Yes, its not against the top nba teams, but you still have to make the plays and shots, which he did. No matter where you play, you have to execute and show you can handle the pressure and have the bball IQ and skills to make things happen on both sides of the ball.

I know the suns coaching staff liked what they saw in tuck and robin. Thing is like you said, the PT is not really there with Barnes coming in and Barbs still on this team. Depending on how he does in camp, he might see some PT to see what he can do. But I think he will ride the pine as we goes down to a 10 man rotation.

I like this kid, I think he could be a solid role player if given the chance down the road.
