Birdman returns to Nuggets

Chris "The Birdman" Andersen will return to the Denver Nuggets next season. He agreed to sign a one-year contract with the team, multiple sources said Wednesday.

That's good news. He should get playing time, backing-up K-Mart, but I hope we won't have to see him in the dunk contest anymore lol

If he still has his skills, Karl better give him playing time. We need his intensity and defense (Shot blocking atleast..)

He should be coming into his prime, had he never faced that suspension. Didn't get much time back with the Hornets, but if hes been working out, he could be a very good energetic big for us. Definately fun to watch at least.

Still like to see Eason and possibly even Elton Brown added to the roster.

Interesting move, I wonder if he's tough enough mentally to face the demons he left here. I saw him at Greenwood Athletic Club every now and then, so I know he stuck around the Denver area even after his suspension. God, I hope our garbage locker room isn't a bad influence on him.

I wonder if he can play with the same intensity when he is sober/clean if he really is. It will be interesting to find out.
