Rams start in Mequon tomorrow

Post#1 » by paulpressey25 » Thu Jul 24, 2008 2:51 am

I know this isn't as big a story without Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, etc, but the Rams start their training camp tomorrow at Concordia University in Mequon.

Here's a link with all the practice times open to the public:

For those of you guys that don't know where Concordia is located, it is essentially about 6-7 miles north of Bayshore, off I-43. It is very easy to get to.

If you don't know what to do this weekend or next, it might be worth a trip over there. I realize Green Bay would be a desired destination, but this one is pretty close to home for a lot of us. And I believe there are some neat areas you can hike along Lake Michigan at Concordia if you get bored watching the practices.

It's pretty close to me, I've definitely going to stop over there during the weekend. Packer training camp is fun but quite a drive. This is a good alternative.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I remember when the Jaguars went to UW-Stevens Point in their first year, that was pretty cool at the time. Obviously they didn't last long there. Kinda cool some teams are coming back to Wisconsin. Fortunately I'm near Green Bay, so I can maybe check out the Pack if I get a chance.
