QFT!

It might be too much pressure for him to be the starter on game 1. He seems to be more suited right now coming off the bench. I do see the ability during this coming season for him to be a starter at SG. It's more of a wait and see then anything else.

I don't quite agree with the extremity of the "God help us" line; but I do think it's as bad as of a mistake as Nellie starting Devin Harris as a rookie in game 1.
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

I started this thread to mention how nice it was to see that Green was doing well in Summer League. I also mentioned that I might consider him at starting SG because I would like to continue to have JET and Stack come off the bench. Notice the word "consider". Clearly he would have to show in training camp that he could handle the role. I would also consider Antoine Wright at starting SG. The point being that if we want to keep our 2nd unit with JET and Stack then we might want to find someone who could take that starting role (Does not mean that they are on the court at crunch time).

I also hear from some of you how Green is the type of player that will excel with Jason Kidd. Well last time I checked Kidd was the starting PG. So it's not unreasonable to have Green out there with Kidd as much as possible (Assuming he is up to the role).

Anyway if pointing out that Green is doing well in Summer League is hyping him then I guess I am hyping him. I am trying to be optimistic in an off-season that has not had much to be optimistic about.
