More like "overpaid" than anything else.

as someone who watched Yi play about 30 games in person, I'll tell you this. He's pretty bad. Here in Milwaukee we saw him put up impressive international numbers in the summer. But those numbers are just that.... basically JV games. The Aussie All-Stars probably wouldnt even win the Big Ten if they competed.

He really was a disappointment here in Milwaukee. Hope you guys can tap his "potential" but I didnt see it. He has bad ball handling skills, cant post.. doesnt rebound all that well and wont shoot the 3. He does like the international 3 pt line though... which he'll hit about 40% of the time.

And the defense... Bobby Simmons definitely defends better.

Yi's qualities are that he is long. He has ok quickness, but he needs to add about 30-40lbs. If he can do that and keep his quickness. He could develop into a better defensive player.

He can also block an occasional shot, but nothing to write home about.

All that being said... Im glad you guys have him and we have RJ now. I cant believe you guys made that trade.. The only reason I see why you did it is because Simmons expires before RJ does... so that will help in the Lebron quest. But surrendering 3 years basically is a little backwards. But if you do get Lebron.... consider it worth it. Otherwise...... good luck with Yi.

Devin Harris on the other hand - love his game.. but I also went to college with him :).
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.
