Will Greg Oden break a backboard in his career?

Do you guys think he will in his career?

I was looking through the summer league games he played in and everytime he dunked he tried to like tear it down. So do you think he will break one in this career? I think he will at least break 1

Not with the current backboards. He would have to pull down the whole damn basket (which I would not be surprised if he could). Look for him when he makes the olympic roster and those european backboards are much stiffer. Sabas did over in Europe durin his time so I would say sure for Oden.

oden can do anything he wants to, so i'm pretty sure he will break one one day.

Oden will stop world hunger, find a cure for cancer, single-handedly lower gas prices to $1 per gallon, then he will think about breaking a few backboards.

I don't think you can break NBA backboards anymore. You'd have to weigh 500 pounds.

And it's probably best they started using safety glass. It looks like a good way to lose an eye, especially if you wind up falling on your back when the rim comes off.

I heard it took 2 hours to bring one up after Shaq tore it down

Nah, breaking a backboard is wasteful. Oden wouldn't do that.
