On NBA draft net they have Rubio being the number one pick in two years. I don't think Saras would have ever warranted that high of a selection.

WOW-- that basketball move was downright awesome coming from a 17-year old! :o

This is the first video I've seen of Rubio, and judging from that one move combined with his age, he sounds every bit the 1st pick for sure when he comes out

I have heard great things about Rubio from the net but have never seen him play or anything of that nature. I have no idea what draft class he will be joining but I would be hard pressed to pick anyone over Demar Derozan. I may have a bit of a biased opinion on that one though. Hopefully they won't end up in the same draft.

They will. Rubio is eligible for next year's draft, and I'd be willing to bet my prized hog that DeRozan wont spend more than one year at USC.

Yea, I'm thinking the same thing. When you come from Compton, you usually have not seen much money unless it happens to be dirty and your starving to get it. He would have to play far below his capabilities that freshman season but otherwise, he will be going pro after a year.

I've actually seen Demar play a couple of times. You'll see my old high school (Long Beach Poly, we are nearly always top 25 nation for football, usually on the better side of the top 25) in a ton of the Demar DeRozan highlight vids on Youtube. We are usually not as gifted in boys basketball 8-) He pulled highlight after highlight the first time I saw him and I knew he had a lot of talent. I started going to other games against other schools just to watch him play from time to time. I like to think I have a good eye for talent. I did tell Sonic fans and a lot of others on these boards long ago that Flip Murray was the real deal while he was not thought to even have a chance to make the Sonics roster after watching him play in the Pro SL. It was not long after that, he was putting up 20+ a game while Ray Allen was injured. I also called that Collison was a bust but point is, I feel I have an eye for talent and Demar is the best player I have ever seen in person. He is far more than a dunker :)
