Rams Acquire Dante Hall

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Rams' long search for a return man ended Wednesday when the team acquired Dante Hall from Kansas City in exchange for a fifth-round pick in this weekend's draft.

"We have filled a need with one of the top players in football at his specialty, returning punts and kicks," Rams coach Scott Linehan said. "Dante will fit nicely on our special teams and can be utilized as a receiver in certain situations."

So glad this happened, now I can stop worrying about the Rams picking Ted Ginn in the 1st. Although I'm not sure Hall was worth the 5th round pick, and the swap in 3rd round picks, considering he's declined a good amount the past 2 years.

i think a 5th round pick is a good trade. he's declining but the 5th round pick is fair enough. rams offense next year looks scary......

plus with ginn pretty much out of the ram's mind, you guys can finally focus on that defense.... so good for you guys.

STEAL. Dante Hall is gonna be a lot better than Shaun McDonald and hopefully our special teams will be a threat this year.

I love this trade

I was really worried about the rams drafting Ginn with their 1st pick. They have too many needs to waste a first rounder on a guy who will propably only amount to a return guy.

Dante gives them their best return man since Az's heyday. He will thrive on the turf.
