it could be because his shooting has gotten bad and that's all he can do.JoshB914 wrote:I've noticed that J-Rich's minutes have gone down dramatically since those first two games. I think he's got a spot all but wrapped up on the roster this year.

Re: Hawks at the RMR
In the last game of the RMR for the Hawks, Othello Hunter played 7 scoreless minutes in the first half. But he scored 20 second half points, going 10/11 from the field. Final line: 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists in 24 minutes.
Gardner and Bennett got more minutes, and scored more points. 34 minutes each.
Gardner shot 9/19, but that included 7/14 from three, 27 points. He is a 6'5 guard from Missouri a couple years ago, who actually played 4 games with limited minutes for the Bulls last season.
And 12/15 including 3 threes from Bennett for 30 points! Bennett is a 6'4" guard from South Alabama, that was 0/11 and had yet to score going into this game.
Othello Hunter is still the top man the Hawks should be looking at from the summer league because of his size. Outside of Zaza/Horford/Josh, there's not a lot there, especially with Chill bolting. Othello would be a good pick up to back up the 3/4 positions, who plays within himself and has some modest upside.

Wow Bennett played like a madman today... watched couple of quarters and he's killing the opposing guards. Got a nice shooting touch also.
