Draft Players 25 and under

Post#1 » by TdotWattz » Fri Jul 25, 2008 3:58 pm

If you were a GM and you had to draft players under 25 today, what would your draft board look like

1. Lebron James
2. Dwight Howard
3. Chris Paul
4. Amare Stoudemire
5. Carmello Anthony
6. Chris Bosh
7. Deron Williams
8. Greg Oden
9. Brandon Roy
10. Josh Smith
11. Al Jefferson
12. Monta Ellis
13. Kevin Durant
14. Andrew Bynum
15. Derrick Rose
16. Kevin Martin
17. Andre Igoudala
18. Michael Beasley
19. Lamarcus Aldridge
20. Andrew Bogut
21. Devin Harris

I think i might even be disrespecting Kevin Martin there but the guys i put ahead of him have unlimited potential

Nice list. This is how I would draft them; not how I'd rank them in terms of individual talent. Talent does play a big role in where they would be drafted, however.

1. James
2. Howard
3. Paul
4. Oden
5. Deron
6. Amare
7. Bosh
8. Anthony
9. Al Jefferson
10. Bynum
11. Durant
12. Brandon Roy
13. Derrick Rose
14. Kevin Martin
15. Josh Smith
16. Al Horford
17. Igoudala
18. Rudy Gay
19. Andrew Bogut
20. Lamarcus Aldridge
21. Monta Ellis
22. Luol Deng
23. TJ Ford
24. Andrea Bargnani
25. Rajon Rando
26. Tyrus Thomas
27. Thaddeus Young
28. Rodney Stuckey
29. O.J. Mayo
30. Al Thornton
31. Paul Millsap
32. Jeff Green
33. Louis Williams
34. Kevin Love
35. Randy Foye
36. Mike Conley
37. Nick Young
38. Andray Blatche
39. Sean Williams
40. Russell Westbrook
41. Ronnie Brewer
42. Eric Gordon
43. Adam Morrison
44. Kendrick Perkins
45. Craig Smith
46. Rashad McCants
47. Raymond Felton
48. Quincy Douby
49. Julian Wright
50. Josh Boone

Edit: Forgot Michael Beasley.... He's around 15-20 IMO.

I would take Andris Biedrins over Josh Boone.

Put me down for Wes's list, at least for the top 10 or so, very nice job.

27. Foye

29. Ford

You also forgot Travis Outlaw and Jerryd Bayless, who I hope at least you think are better than Adam Morrison and a few others. Heck, Martell Webster, Petteri Koponen and Rudy Fernandez are better than Adam Morrision

I definitely snubbed a few guys, namely Biedrins. But I didn't have a list of players or anything so its easy to forget players. No disrespect to the golden state fanbase, simply forgot him. He is around the mid to late twenties IMO.

Regarding Adam Morrison. Well he was injured last season and I still think he can be a scorer in the NBA.

Crazy? Why is that? You could make an argument either way. The people who listed Roy over Bynum obviously would rather have Roy.

I hope this is a joke. Wade and Roy are two completely different players.

If your not big on Brandon Roy after these last two years then something is wrong with you.

Well in fairness he has played more than 35 good games, so right now I would. That might be different this time next year.... or it might not.
