Select A Seat July 26

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Fri Jul 25, 2008 1:47 pm

This Saturday the welcome mat will be outside the arena and if your wanting tickets you can pick whatever seat you want.

Pretty bad timing considering Josh Childress just signed with Greece and we don't even have Josh Smith signed yet. Good luck ASG!

Dear ASG: if we lose out on Smoove too, will I be able to choose an electric chair?

Without Smith, remaining Hawks fans (both of them) will be able to freely Select-A-Seat all season long.

They'd be wise to quit calling and e-mailing fans like myself in the interim, until they make some significant (and decent) roster moves.

Apparently, marketing and the Stagnates aren't on the same page. No one has told marketing to tone it down until we get this resolved.
We are getting further and fruther from last year very rapidly.

And you better come up with a new slogan in a hurry, because there is no 'Hightlight Factory'' without Smoove!

The email I received really seemed Hockey-centric with the Hawks being the afterthought. I am seriously considering going down there to see what's the least expensive ticket I can switch to. The idea of being about 10 feet from the end of the Hawks bench doesn't seem as much fun these days as it did during the playoff experience. Might as well work the system to save as much money as possible (Sund taught me that).

Dallas, I'm willing to lend you a parking pass for the upcoming season. It'll only cost you $3 to park behind the arena, instead of the $10 your probably paying now.

Maybe the signing of Evans will make you feel better about the money you spent, but now it's time for the ASG to get the Josh Smith signing over with, and focus on other talent.

That sounds good. It is imperative that sign Josh Smith because my new seat is a row back of his family (unless they move when he get a new deal).

What are the chances the ASG announce that Josh Smith has been signed today while the fans are at the arena?

These select-a-seat things are kind of sparse in attendance. I don't see that as the announcement forum. If they do get a deal inked I think they try to make a big promotion out of the announcement with something video worthy to possibly get some screen time on ESPN.
