Bobcats win it all! (Dal-Cha and Dal-Gsw)

Post#1 » by dwayn3wad3 » Sat Jul 26, 2008 10:02 pm

Charlotte: Gerald Wallace, Matt Carroll, Adam Morrision, and Emeka Okafor and a 1st round pick 09'
Dallas: Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd and Jason Terry

Jose Juan Barea/Keith McLeod
Josh Howard/Matt Carrol
Gerald Wallace/Adam Morrision
Emeka Okafor/Brandon Bass
Eric Dampier/Desagnia Diop

Charlotte: Raymond Felton, DJ Augustin, and a 1st round pick 11'
Goldenstate: Stephen Jackson

Raymond Felton/DJ Augustin/Marcus Williams
Monta Ellis/Marco Belleneli
Corey Maggette/Kelenna Azubuike
Al Harrington/Branden Right/Anthony Randolph
Andreis Beirdnas/Roney Turriaf

Jason Kidd/Jason Terry
Jason Richardson/Jason Terry
Stephen Jackson/Jared Dudley
Dirk Nowitzki/Sean May
Nazr Muhammad/Alexis Ajinca

Obviously Dallas would make some trades to dump some guys like (Jones, Stackhouse, Dampier, Diop) for a PG. While Goldenstate will be looking to remove there glut at the PG. Either way this is just one trade that makes Charlotte a favor to win it all for the next two or three years.

My thought is that Gsw aren't getting enough.

Is the 1st pick necessary?

Oh, GOD NO, from the Mavs!

Dirk > the entire group alone.

No way we give up our PGs in the process leaving us with Barea as our only PG.

Dirk>Okafor
Kidd<Wallace

Adam Morrision, Matt Carroll and a 1st don't make up the difference?

What if it was two picks to dallas and Gsw didn't get a pick.

I'd definitely do the Dallas trade, but there isn't a shot in hell I do that trade with the Warriors. Thats just ridiculous.

Come on, guy! Dirk's efficiency is +30.80 against Chris Paul's Hornets despite the struggle of nearly all of the teammates and severe double-team.

This deal doesn't work for Mavericks obviously. If you want to convince Mark to rebuild, let's start with taking away all the salaries (JET, Damp) together with enough building blocks. This deal essentially do nothing to either rebuilding nor retooling.

.....well,maybe. Seems the Win now mavs and the win in the future Bobs cross wires leaving both a notch shy of either goal. i'm sure Char would be happy to leave terry in Dallas and keep some of their guys. Gsw gets value (at least with the pick) but there's been a feeling that Monta can't play full time SG alongside a small PG. With Felton,Augustin,Williams...and Monta,we'd be quite stocked at PG and there'd be some deal in the future

Overall....a deal that's interesting and MIGHT actually work.....yet it's so high risk and high cost it's not gonna happen. I suspect this also has the Bob's taking on far more salary than allowable
CENSORED... No comment.

There's no way in hell Mark Cuban agrees on this trade. . .

Bingo. Cuban wants to win now and has a lot of money invested in these guys. What makes anyone think they would trade their team for the Bobcats' team (minus JRich, one of their best players), I cant figure out. Add to that the fact that this is simply bad value for what the Mavs are giving up.
Im pretty freakin awesome........

Neat trade, Mavs would never do it though. Plus GSW wouldn't get both PG's from Charlotte.

You clearly put about 20 seconds thought into these deals, the first is just a terrible fit for the Mavs and the 2nd makes no sense for the Bobcats.
