Superstars like wade will stay in the NBA regardless of how much money foreign teams offer them. Because staying in the NBA, they get more endorsements and sponsors from it, which foreign teams can't match or make up for.. But average players like Childress probably can
Why?
You think there aren't European corporations? Italy doesn't have a Nike of their own? Spain doesn't have their own Expedia? The ONLY reason, 5 years from now, American-born basketball players will choose to stay here is "but mah momma/wife don't want to go to Russia".

NBA is a global brand though. It still attracts more sponsors and endorsements for players. A Lebron and Wade wouldn't be getting the same amount of endorsements and ads globally if they're not in a top tier NBA team and playing in the top league. Yeah, Italy has european corporations and Nike brands to support the players ...but the game isn't as developed and globally popular there, it's just the locals..
But it definitely will attract the carl landrys mo evans and josh childress's that aren't really the faces of their team
