1. Dirk Nowitzki +30.80 (playoff 2008)
2. Jason Kidd +16.80 (playoff 2008)
3. Brandon Bass +15.40 (playoff 2008)
4. Jason Terry +14.60 (playoff 2008)
5. Josh Howard +8.80 (playoff 2008)
6. Jose Juan Barea +8.00 (season 2007-08)
7. Desagana Diop +7.54 (season 2007-08)
8. Devean George +5.20 (playoff 2008)
9. Erick Dampier +4.80 (playoff 2008)
10. Gerald Green +4.00 (season 2007-08)
11. Jerry Stackhouse +4.20 (playoff 2008)
12. Eddie Jones +2.00 (playoff 2008)
13. James Singleton ? (season 2007-08)
14. Keith McLeod ? (season 2007-08)
15. Antoine Wright -1.00 (playoff 2008)
Projected Minutes:
C - Desagana Diop (18) / Erick Dampier (22) / Whoever (insurance or matchup player)
PF - Dirk Nowitzki (36) / Brandon Bass (12+8) / James Singleton (?)
SF - Josh Howard (36) / Antoine Wright (?) / Rayshawn Terry or Shan Foster (0)
SG - Gerald Green (22) / Jerry Stackhouse (6+12) / Eddie Jones (0)
PG - Jason Kidd (36) / Jason Terry (6+20) / Jose Juan Barea (6)
If Mark can lobby Alonzo Mourning away from Miami, I would give him 10. Make it:
C - Desagana Diop (18) / Erick Dampier (18) / Alonzo Mouring (10)
PF - Dirk Nowitzki (34+2) / Brandon Bass (14) / James Singleton (0)
Unless it's playoff-tested veteran like Zo, anyone we sign as the 15th player won't get any minutes.
Antoine Wright should steal minutes from Josh Howard, Gerald Green or Jerry Stackhouse.
James Singleton should compete with Josh Howard and Brandon Bass.
If RAT or SF makes the team, they would look forward to NBDL all-star game.
But I feel like they would keep Eddie Jones. This team obviously needs leaders.
If the Mavs do keep Keith McLeod, Jose Juan Barea would be the primary backup PG.
Unlike last year, we need to keep our starter competitive, I give 36 to Dirk, JoHo, and Kidd.
Of course, I still want to trade Stack and fillers for a starting 2/3.
I just don't see it happening until February's deadline.
Right now, we should persuade Zo to Dallas for vet min.
Unfortunately, we haven't got any of Zo's friend on the roster.

Depth Chart
Dampier Diop (Dirk)
Dirk Bass Rhodes (Singleton)
Howard (Bass Rhodes) Singleton RAT (Wright Green )
Wright Green ( Howard RAT Singleton) Stack
Kidd Terry JJ
14 and 15th should be a 3rd string center that can play the 4 or another young PG.
Stack needs to be benched or cut or traded. Jones if nobody wants him why do we?

Re: Efficiency Ranking & Minutes Distribution
Are you sure Rhodes, Singleton, Wright and Green can contribute right away?
As far as I watch, Gerald Green improves nicely in the RMR. He can create for himself and headache for defender (thanks to his athleticism. I am confident he can't beat the others (including Stack) for playing time.
BTW, there're some PF/C with better numbers remain unsigned, for example, Elton Brown and Pops Mensah-Bonsu. I think we should take a close look before choosing Rhodes.
Of course, I still want Zo as a player-coach. Coz he can actually help in playoff. And he may even beat Diop and Damp to be starter. He can teach the center duo a thing for 2. He's one of the greatest center all time. He's the leader with a lot of mental toughness.
