Now the stats will show how bad of a defense Devner has.

Houston and NO?

Barring injury Houston is no worse than SA, NO, and Utah.

The most likely answer would be the Nuggets. They were one of the worst defensive teams in the league last year and they lost their best team defender. Denver will have to rely on scoring over 100 pts a night just to be competitive IMO. They were the "sexy" pick for coming out of the western conference last year but the Nuggets just haven't learned to play as a team and put their egos aside.

Another team to potentially miss the playoffs is Houston; especially if Tracy McGrady gets traded before the season starts. I don't feel this team has the depth and if another year of injuries plagues the Rockets I doubt seeing another 22 game win streak by this team to stay in playoff contention. However, barring any significant injuries this team can be good as anyone.

Well there's my two cents, take it, do with it as you wish.

I'm going with Dallas. Kidd looked sad to end the year and in the playoff's. He looks to be falling off. Josh Howard has his issues and took a step back last year. The team is just old. Eddie Jones, Stackhouse, Dampier, Terry, Kidd all over 30.......

Out of all those teams - it's SUPER EASY.

It's Denver and it's not even close. Some already mentioned why - which is that Denver pretty much just doesn't play defense and it's not like they score 110 a game night in and night out and losing their sole great defensive presence, really makes them much worse.

I say I they won't be even 10th seed in the loaded and improved west.

I say Portland will take their place.

And barring a corrupt government Cuba is a better neighbor then Canada.

When was the last season Houston didn't suffer horrible injuries?

At this point right now in the off-season. . .Denver is the pretty obvious choice, but I've seen stranger things happen before

Denver.

Houston is bound to have a major injury so if they miss no one will be suprised.

Hey, easy there... :wavefinger:

No Camby, no Nuggets playoff berth. Giving away one of your team's three stars for nothing does that to you. Dallas and Phoenix could be in some hot water, and maybe even Houston too, but Denver's the one with the magic marker circle around it.

If the rumors of Carlos Boozer being traded to Miami come true I don't see the Jazz making it back to the playoffs. Of course a lot of that will depend on who they get in return. I don't see the Jazz taking on Marion and I don't see the heat giving up Wade. Marion or Wade would have to be involved unless a multi team trade is in the works.

I voted for Denver however, Denver was about to implode last year. Look for the explosion this year.

I think HOU will make it, b/c they make it every year even with their injury issues. I think DAL/PHO will make it simply b/c they're too talented not to(but I think they'll land 6-8 seeds). The team that got noticeably worse was Denver, so I won't be surprised if they miss out.

WTF? If the Jazz lose Boozer they'll get Marion back, unless Miami was willing to part ways with Beasley already. Either way, Utah would definitely make the playoffs.

An 8th seeded Nuggets just lost one of their best players and nearly the entire roster will be worse except for Melo. I'm not saying they definitely won't make the playoffs, but of all the teams who made it last year they are BY FAR the most likely not to get back.

Denver and Dallas both won't make it IMO. Denver is going to be worse than Dallas IMO.
