Then it's highly unlikely that he goes anywhere. It's beyond wishful thinking to hope that anyone in the NBA wants anything to do with this guy. I don't get the impression that people on this board understand truly how low his value is. It would be extremely low even if the whole world didn't know Bird has to get rid of him before the season starts.

If he wasn't in this current contract I bet there would be 10-12 teams interested. As of right now I'd be shocked if there was 1 team in the NBA seriously interested in acquiring him.

We know he has low value, hence why the trade suggestion was for Ben Wallace, a guy making 3-million dollars for every point he puts on the board, who no longer has elite rebounding or defense to fall-back on.

However, I'm sure there's somebody that will eventually make a move for him. I will agree though, it's likely either going to cost us a lot in other future value or we're going to have to take on a bunch of future money or guaranteed years in contracts.

I might even be at the point where I'd do a Tinsley/Rasho or Tinsley/Daniels for Ben Wallace trade. I'd probably REALLY do a Tinsley/Daniels deal. We'd bit it by about $7 million next year in additional salary and an additional $1 million this year, but cut the last year of Tinsley's salary and save about $7.7 million in the last year. Essentially, we'd come out even in salary, but not reap the benefits until 2 years from now.

Those are the two deals that we might end up having to choose between, in theory.

I'd be ok with running with a lineup of:

Rasho/Wallace/Hibbert
Murphy/Foster/Baston/McRoberts
Granger/Williams/Graham
Dunleavy/Rush
Ford/Jack/Diener

I would imagine that if we got Wallace that he would start for us. And I would be absolutely fine with that trade. I don't see the Bulls going for it, but it's always fun to hope.

Wallace is on the Cavs now, not the Bulls. I'm very skeptical as to whether he would start for us. He has been awful the past two years. I'd rather start Rasho or Foster honestly.

Haha, yes, yes he is on the Cavs. And yes, he has been skeptical. He was in an ideal situation in Detroit. He needs to be in the perfect surroundings for him to produce. I think he could do well with us if he would get back to his rebounding/shot blocking self.

I think if teams could move contracts like Jared Jeffries, Ben Wallace, Boris Diaw, Kenyon Martin, Kenny Thomas, etc, there are about 5 teams that would probably ultimately make a deal for Tinsley, with all other things being equal.

if I had my pick of the guys you listed scooter it would be Diaw or jeffries, wallace is a never in a million years, kenny Thomas is worthless but at least he's not named Tinsley, and Kmart is risky and expensive, we'd have to move the likes of JT and murphy or JT, Daniels and Williams to do a kmart deal.

I cant remember who's idea it was, but I really wouldnt mind taking a flier on a Tinsley/Murphy/Williams for Kenyon Martin type of deal. Everyone there has pretty miserable contracts (minus Shawne), and Kenyon is a low post scorer/defender that could fit in nicely. I'm not sure why Denver would want to add another headache like Tinsley, but its not completely ridiculous.
