i'm definitely not a pro wrestler, but the wrestling team was the only team I was on during High School.. I was very skinny, and quick, definitely used that to my advantage... I achieved a silver medal in a tournament, but "retired" early due to performance in school..

But yeah, I loved the matches.. it's like the "me against you" mentality, and I loved the challenge... just being able to pin someone on the ground, make it amazing.. I was definitely the underdog a lot of the time (due to my skinny frame), but that didn't turn me away..

But again, I have no "pro" experience, but just wanted to share my thoughts.

btw, Jeff Hardy is my favorite wrestler.. I was sad when he left a few years ago..

You know, I've always wanted to try it out, but never bothered to look into it. There's probably a ton of places to train for it in my area, but everyone is going into the MMA thing now so I doubt there's anyone really pushing wrestling at this point.

Pro wrestling is in a sad state right now anyways; the wrestlers still aren't protected and the quality has just gotten worse and worse each year. I truly do miss the days of the WWF. It seems once we got to about late 99-2000 that it really started to go downhill. It was still fun to watch, but nothing will ever come close to the days of Hogan and Warrior, or when WCW really started clicking; the NWO and all that was just incredible.

I really miss some of the WCW's PPV's now, come to think of it. World War III was amazing, with the three rings. And War Games, with the two rings & the huge cage over it with one person let in at a time by each time. Memories!

Oh I know, I was just saying MMA is slowly but surely taking over. My knees and ankles have already taken a big enough beating from basketball already :P
