Yeah, except it wasn't VC's fault that his teams weren't better than the NBA finalists in the East.

Exactly. Since Vince has been in NJ he has lost to Miami (Conference finals), Miami (NBA Champs) and Cleveland (NBA finals). It's not as if he's ever lost being on the better team, usually his teams were the underdog and the team they eventually lost to did quite well in the playoffs.
