One bust center was on the team when they won the championship, maybe they want that luck again.

It's $4 million a year for two years and the second year is a player option.

This makes me think a trade is in the works.

Sheed/Dice/Brown/Maxiell/Johnson/Samb... someone is being moved.

Rasheed Wallace will teach Kwame how to be a man, hopefully they don't trade sheed cus he plays best with a defensive centerpiece next to him(not saying Kwame is a centerpiece of anything but atleast he has physical tools to stand there and alter shots)

Kwame still has small hands. Doesnt matter what team he plays for.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

If Sheed isn't moved, Kwame would be the backup center behind Sheed. Dice/Maxiell/Amir can't play the 5.

IMO, one of Amir/Maxiell/Dice is being packaged in a trade. No way Dumars leaves that logjam at PF when he can package one of those players with one of our starting wings for a better option.

If Kwame decided not to get help from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, why would he seek guidance from Sheed?

Anyway, Kwame is not worth 4mill, but its only a 2 year deal. Even if Kwame doesnt provide what Detroit is looking for, he wont be there for too long.

Decent deal for Det.

Detroit fans if you plan on going to games make sure you get life insurance for yourslef and any loved ones if you plan on taking them with you. When kwame receives a pass there is the risk of him fumbling it and end up hitting you at high speed with a chance of decapitation.

Not a lot of money involved, short contract length, seems an OK deal for Detroit.

I was hoping to get him, but at half of that price.

Also, cheers to kwame's agent, the best agent in the biz.

Horrible offense. Lousy rebounder. Non-shot blocker. Terrible hands. Just an all-around atrocious basketball player. Take Jason Collins, put a plastic bag over his head until you've killed 60-70% of his brain cells, and you have yourself a Kwame Brown clone.

To be fair though, Kwame, when he tries, is an above-average man-to-man defender. He did well when he was put on Jermaine, KG, and Duncan as a Laker. Of course, he didnt shut them down, but did well.
