cavs, IF they lose delonte west.
wizards, IF they are not healthy.
hawks, IF they lose smith, maybe they not make the playoffs even with smith.

Delonte West? no, the Cavs hopes aren't depending on him..

if Lebron James plays for your team, you're a lock for the playoffs..

I know how good James is, but you can't do it alone, he had Ilgauskas but this guy is old, probably will start to decline now, and the East will be a bit better than last year with the addition of Elton Brand.

Gibson
Wally
Lebron
Wallace
Ilgauskas

The only decent bench player you have is ¿Varejao?.

Can't believe a Raptors fan thinks they're not going to improve especially when the team made a lot of acquisitions, pathetic.

Anyways, i still think Atlanta is going to make it, because I can't see another team replacing them, possibly Milwaukee. In terms of improvement Milwaukee, Toronto and Philadelphia are the teams which made big moves.

Call me crazy, but for some reason I don't think the Cavs are basing their hopes of a title on Delonte West.

The Cavs will make it. The Cavs dealt with a ton of injuries last year...they essentially played the year down a key player every game, sometimes 4 at a time.

Through it all though, they kept winning...strange. But when LeBron doesnt play they can hardly muster up a close loss...also strange. Seems this LeBron guy might be a key to winning by himself.

The answer has to be the Hawks. You cant tell me that you think the Hawks are a better team than the Cavs...LeBron is a better team than the Hawks. To top it off, they could lose Josh Smith after already losing Childress.

The Raptors may be in danger too, since Jermaine O'Neal only plays about 10 games a season.

That lineup outscored the champs over their 7 game series and was a lay-up away from sending them home.

It was actually that bad all year long.

Up until the end of the year the Cavs played only 1 game with even 5 of their top 8 rotation players. I think it was the last 7 or 8 games they played with everyone but Sasha. Either way thats atleast 74 games with 3 of the top 8 players being injured.

Also about the post above. Gibson was out in game 7 and Varejao was out the entire 2nd half. The two players that in the past have been the best in clutch outside of Lebron. Game 7 probably would have been very different with even one of them playing.

I was talking about the playoffs, i don't think the Cavs are contenders with or without Delonte West.

Nope, the lineup was:
West-Wally-Lebron-Wallace-Ilgauskas.

Btw Wallace and Ilgauskas will be much worse next year.

Plaoffs, eh?
Atlanta got weaker, the other teams, especially Toronto, got stronger.
What else can be said?

Atlanta is the obvious choice at this moment. Having said that, the Cavs are just a torn ACL away from being a 10-win team so they'd have to be my sleeper.

Atlanta is the most logical pick at the moment. Toronto will be in serious trouble if Bosh or JO get injured. I expect Charlotte to surprise everyone and beat one of those teams in a run for the playoffs.
