Poetry Thread

Post#1 » by Scabs304 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 11:44 pm

Don't believe this thread survived the unholy change either so decided it was time to start another one. Sorry, but I can't name this out of Eta just cause.

Plainly you can tell I have not written in a while,
I tried writing some prose then went pretty well,
But I've ran out of time to write last few miles.
So now I put down some verse and you can tell,
I'm out of practice out of touch out mind,
Six lines so hard has to be a sign,
That I'm out of shape out of words,
even though I creatd threads in hordes.
I am Scabs.

Hey, what happened?
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

It's clear to those in the know,
That it was a clear no-no,
So we got quick erase,
Of a day of type waste.
It might all be for naught,
But it was a battle to be faught.
I am Scabs.

What was that line from Forest Gump about Vacation. I think Scabs went there.

I'm concious of my detoriating mental capacity,
But also aware of my receding folical growth,
So in conclusion my lack of standard hair line,
and my lack of insanity means that my mouth.
I am Scabs.

My siege of threads seems pointless,
But hopefully they'll fix the shrine mess.
It's a mockery of the bible mockery,
That I can't stand by and let be.
Free Laron Profit and the thread,
It has to live and can't be dead.
I am Scabs.
