and by the way, did anybody else realise that the Greek basketball season only consist of 26 games..... getting paid $20M for only 78 games (or one NBA season) is pretty sweet

26 games is for one season in the national league, but his team will also play in Euroleague for at least 10 games, and 6 more if they go to Top16, then a Best-of-five serie if they go to Quarterfinals and 2 more if they go to Final Four, so up to 23 Euroleague games added to the 26 national games.

Meanwhile, it makes it like half the number of games he played last season, so with 6.4M (after taxes, car, food, ...) is kind of paradise for him.

Regarding your thread and the MVP question, I am not sure at all he can be MVP. I would say he will not be in any of his 3 years, but I hope him the best.

^ well if you include playoffs in the NBA, it comes to 110 games in the NBA

I forgot the national playoffs that can add 13 more games, so the total is now up to 61 games, and since Olympiakos is not the ATL of Europe but one of the contender, there is more chance that he plays almost 61 games with Olympiakos than playing 110 with ATL.

But OK, the 82 first here were sure.
