Help: Team Captains Season 04/05 05/06 06/07

Hello everyone,

Iam looking for the Bobcats Team captains (1st, 2nd and 3rd if possible) for the following seasons. If you have an idea please let me know!

Season: 04/05
Season: 05/06
Season: 06/07

I'm not positive on this but here's a try:

04/05 - Brevin Knight / Gerald Wallace
05/06 - Brevin Knight / Gerald Wallace
06/07 - Brevin Knight / Gerald Wallace / Raymond Felton
07-08 - Raymond Felton / Gerald Wallace

I'm thinking this year it would be Felton, J-Rich, and probably Wallace again. It's hard to find this info it seems.

something like this. Not sure when Gerald had becomed a captain (in 04/05 already?) and not sure when Knight lost it. But i would guess something very similar if not the same.

From the Summer League Blog at Bobcats.com, Raymond had mentioned that he and JRich, along with Wallace would be captains this coming season.

Added Felton, “J-Rich and I just came out here to show some leadership. We’re the two captains of this team, along with Gerald Wallace, and we wanted to come out here and show our support while at the same time getting our work in. We’re getting up early in the morning, missing breakfast and going to work out by 7:00 before any of the teams start working – so we’re not down here for vacation.”
Instead they are here working on goals the two of them have set for the 2008-09 season.

Possibly. The actual captains may not be set until training camp, but I don't see any other reason why this would not be the case.

I thought Steve Smith was a captain for our first season.

hmm....i have a feeling smith might have been one also. but definitely knight while he was here was always a captain. and yea this season its wallace/richardson/felton

Smith may have been the 2nd season. Wasn't be brought in mid-season the first time? I'm not sure, was Derrick Anderson ever one? They don't really publish this sort of thing it seems.

and here's roster shows okafor and wallace as team captains...doesnt seem logical to me considering richardson and felton arent listed as captains as they should be here

From what I recall GW got it during the season a few years ago I'm guessing it was when we traded Smith. I remember the interview because he didn't even know it until the reporter told him.
