Is this a sign of a expected trade???

Post#1 » by killermamba » Tue Jul 29, 2008 9:13 pm

For those who may not know, today was the NBA Rookie photo shoot and the Rockets' two rookies were at display in their rocket uniforms. At the initial draft presser, both Donte and Joey wore #5 and #15 respectively. However, in the pictures that came out from today's photo shoots, Donte wore #10? Does this mean that the Rockets have acquired someone who requested the #5 from Donte (most presumably a veteran who paid him off, who knows). Sounds a bit off target and odd but interesting at the very least. Any thoughts?

P.S. Pictures of rookie photo shoots can be seem here:

Much, much, much, much more likely he changed his mind picked a different number or someone just screwed up and gave the rook the wrong jersey or he had a joke played on him.

Over at clutchfans they are talking about a Battier, Alston, plus fillers for Iverson that is supposed to have some juice to it. iverson wanted 3, but francis has it, so maybe he chose 5!

I don't believe Iverson to HOU for one second.

Sounds like the latest flavor of the month.

A ball dominating tiny point guard that can't play much defense anymore for 20 million a year? Sign me up!
