Re: Jason Hart interview with Mason & Ireland
For those of you who can't get the link or can't be bothered the conversation went down like this:
Talked about his college career, playing for Syracuse.
Then went on to say that it was sad not to resign with LAC after the end of the season but went to Utah as a 'financial decision'. He also said that playing under Jerry Sloan is a tough ask, and he doesn't let you do your thing (who would've known).
He said when he found out about the trade to the Clippers he was estatic and that he hasn't spoken to Mike Dunleavy yet about his role, or at all. He went on to say he knows his role, and that he's just got to give Baron a rest and that he's a superstar etc. He says you got to say we will make the playoffs, but believes just because we have Baron Davis the team has a good shot.
The rest of the interview was discussing Ricky Davis/ making fun of Ricky Davis and making bets on whether he'd take a shot from the Magic Johnson statue during a game in the season.
After the interview, Mason and Ireland agreed that the team has an interesting component to it and that the Ricky Davis signing was a good move by the team. They said that as bad as things did go down, they've gone well for the team as well. It was agreed that the best tactic for this team this season was to give Baron the ball, get out of the way, and run.
Hopefully we do.

It's so great to finally have players(i.e. Baron, Hart, etc..) that really want to be here.
