^^ maybe soon tho? im hoping the olympic games are exciting and that, even if team usa wins the gold, american fans do not think that team usa is back on top of int'l basketball in any precedented way. im happy that stern continues to push euroleague/nba interplay, too. probably the only thing that guy is getting right imo.

I honestly think that because we invented the game, and will always produce the most talent, U.S. fans will continue to dismiss international play.

Touche, but you know what I mean. Naismith might have been a Canadian, but he spent much of his career in the U.S., where the sport was born and popularized. Hence, his brainchild remains a quintessentially American game.

Maybe if you get over your obsession with international ball you would see that the only reason why anyone cares about these Olympics is because the US lost the last one. Aren't you the same guy that said the Euroleauges are going be on the same level as the NBA in a couple of years?

This is the state of modern day political discourse.

It will be by the 2011-2012 season. No doubt at all in my mind. But then, I actually follow both leagues unlike you, which is blatantly obvious. But I'm not surprised at your basketball knowledge, because I generally find that most Rockets fans are right in with Mavs fans and Jazz fans in level of basketball knowledge, which is to say extremely little.

So a person's knowledge of basketball is based on the team they root for?

Please wise guru, teach me more. You are delusional. You are the only one who believes that. Please give us some more of your skewed fact finding oh wise Euroleague guru.
