Heat fan here, yea I saw him on Best Damn one night nd he was talking bout how the whole fake injury thing in game 1 was a "script" nd that it was supposed to be fans carrying him out, but they edited that part for his safety.

No big deal now though of course, but i posted it on the Celtics board nd got hell for it lol..

Really dumb of him to talk bout "planned" injuries the same summer that a gambling-addicted referee gets 15 months for fixing games..never been a fan of the guy anyways oh well

Pierce has always been on my "Don't Like" players list because he looks like a crybaby when he doesn't get his way and really tops it with what you just said torres213. Oh and what this topic was about, him thinking he is the best player in the world. Yeah right.

Never seen a more blatant flopper and drama queen in my life.... actually no, Dirk Nowitzki is close. It's funny because out of the "Big Three" I strongly believe Paul Pierce would be the most expendable. The defense would be nothing without Garnett (along with his ability to stretch the floor), Allen provided clutch shots and the game-winner in Game 4 and probably the best defense on Kobe out of the entire group, and we all know about Thibideau's defensive scheme shutting down the Lakers. Also, Posey was probably one of the biggest reasons they won too.

Order of importance for Celtics series:

1. Posey/Garnett
2. Allen
3. Thibedeau
4. Kobe's un-clutchness
5. Pierce

You prompted me to look back at the box scores for the series. Pierce had some big games during the series. His biggest though was the 38 pt explosion in a losing effort in game 5. In the other Boston loss he only put up 6 pts on 2/14 shooting. I would think the best couldn't be shut down like that.

THERE WILL BE SOME GAMES WHERE HE PLAYS GOOD, SOME BETTER , SOME BEST,...EVEN GREAT. SOME YEARS AGO IVERSON SAID SOMETHING SIMILAR WHILE JORDAN WAS STILL LACING UP THE SNEAKS AND BOY DID HE GET IT FROM THE BASKETBALL FANS! I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH IVERSON'S STATEMENT THEN AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH PAUL'S NOW. I HAD A PROBLEM WHEN STEPH DECLARED HIMSELF THE "BEST PG IN THE LEAGUE" BECAUSE HE HAD NEVER WON ANYTHING AND EVERY TEAM HE LEAVES ALWAYS SEEM TO GET BETTER WITHOUT HIM. I WOULDN'T CALL STEPH A SCRUB BECAUSE HE IS FAR FROM IT. BUT THE "BEST PG IN THE LEAGUE?!" KEEP THAT TO YOUR SELF TILL YOU WINS OR SHOW SOMETHING TO BACK YOURSELF UP BRO.
