From the W's point of view, I think one of following has to included: an expiring contract,Marvin Williams or future top ten draft pick might have to be included imo...
Haaa, add Marvin to Smith for players that Golden State is not high on. Why ATL would be higher on them ?
Don't get me wrong, Belinelli can really play,... but are they what we need ? If think that a combo of Smith+Marvin can get a better offer.
GSW is very high on Wright,semi-optimistic on Belli who's a fine pure shooter but shakey on D. Nellie has been weird about pretty much wasting ALL of the guys Mullin drafted who were not already established and that includes 3 top 10 picks. Nobody expects Atl to include Marvin, and personally...I was always more in favor of Childress over Marvin. I think the key is if GSW takes back Speedy. Harrington can play, has even improved his D since his Atl days...a bit overpriced but MUCH less so than Speedy. Wright is the main + as he's a keeper who's rookie deal for awhile. With GSW eating Claxton's contract, I'm thinking they would be more willing to give Kosta Perovic than Belinnelli and Kosta may actually be more use to ATL. Harrington is about $5 mill cheaper than Odum and a better shooter/scorer. He turns into an expiring deal which can be trade friendly next summer as teams think about 2010 cap space. I could see GSW and ATL haggling over sending a rd 2 one way or the other. Were Speedy not involved GSW might consider a rd 1,but Speedy probably results in GSW paying some Lux tax.
Seems to me Detroit is possible only if the Pistons are not just dumping older guys with fat salary.
Prince +Amir+Maxiel? I'd rather get B Wright than Amir+Maxiel but Prince is a good SF
The OKC Runaways might be an option. Collison + Petro + Ridenour or something?
